My Mission…

My Mission with Dress to Depress is to shine a light on the hidden realities of fast fashion and to question the culture of endless consumption it promotes. I started this blog to create an honest conversation about where our clothes come from, who makes them, and where they end up: all to highlight the costs the planet and the people face when fashion is treated as disposable.

Through research, storytelling, and exploring sustainable alternatives, I hope to make these issues visible in a way that feels engaging rather than overwhelming. Dress to Depress isn’t about telling people to give up on style, nor is it a way to guilt-trip anyone for what they wear. It’s about redefining what it means to dress with intention, creativity, and care for something bigger than ourselves.
